SAT Reasoning Test, Math Section

Within 30 hours we will review the main topics and techniques related to the Math section SAT. For each topic we start with a brief review then offer a practice session focusing on score raising techniques. The students will take two full-length in-class practice tests with detailed explanation of the answers and solutions. In addition, four take-home tests will be offered, with the opportunity for grading and scoring. Special attention is drawn to using of a graphing and scientific calculator for producing the correct answer faster 100% of the time.

Textbooks and calculators can be provided for purchase on request.

Location: The courses are held at the National Laboratory of Computer Virology. Address: "G. Bonchev" Str., Block 8, Room 172 (in the building of the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences)

Duration: 30 academic hours, as follows:

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00pm to 6:30pm for 5 weeks.

  • California State Summer School for Mathematics and Science (COS- MOS), 1999 – 2003.A summer program for fork with gifted high-school students. Gave lectures and lead discussion sessions. Prepared lecture notes and website, conducted and graded tests.
